Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor Upon Successful registration, you will be emailed instructions for completing the pre-course assessment online links. CPR and First Aid is a certified course that teaches the basics of CPR and First Aid. 3 major emergency types will be taught in this class: Injury Emergencies, Medical Emergencies, and Environmental Emergencies. Students will then also learn the basics of adult/child/infant CPR, How to use an AED, how to relieve choking, in Adult, Child and Infant

Once you complete the CPR, AED & First Aid Instructor Development course you will be able to certify individuals in CPR, AED and/or First Aid. This class will prepare you for teaching in AHA, ARC, ASHI, and ATEM programs.
